System requirements and data protection
What are the technical requirements for lcmd?
lcmd is a SAAS application and supports the collaborative work of various project participants.
- lcmd runs on PCs, laptops and mobile devices (tablets, mobile app)
- Network quality - Internet speed: online application
- Browser: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge from version 98 (10 versions backwards compatible)
- Working memory: minimum 8GB, better 16GB
- Mobile app (own application): Android from version 8, iOS from version 14
What technical limitations must be considered?
Projects can contain a maximum of 50,000 processes and 8 million data points.
Which browser should I use for lcmd?
Please use the Google Chrome browser. Alternatively also Microsoft Edge
Where is the project and user data stored?
Your project and user data in lcmd is stored at Microsoft Azure in Azure Tables.
What happens to my projects after termination / end of use of LCM Digital?
As part of the offboarding process, all project participants are removed from projects in lcmd. We recommend that you save the required data via export (Excel, PDF, MPP.XML).
If you want to use lcmd with your previous data at a later date, the data can be reactivated if the technical requirements are met (e.g. backwards compatibility is ensured).
If you wish to permanently delete your data, you can request this at support@lcmd.io. It is not possible to reactivate permanently deleted data.
In which languages is lcmd available?
lcmd is available in language versions:
- German
- English
- French
You can easily change the language in your browser settings:
- Browser properties (in Google Chrome / Edge via three dots in the top right corner)
- Language -> Select desired language
- Restart the browser
Chinese characters (as names of processes) can be used in lcmd.
Please note that the functionality of the tool is linked to the use of certain services (e.g. reCaptcha). If this service is not available in your country, the use of lcmd may be restricted.

First steps with lcmd
How can I register or log in?
You can register or log in at https://share.lcmdigital.com/. Further information on registration can be found here: Register and Login
How can I create a new project?
Open the project list in lcmd and select “New project” to create an empty project or “Upload schedule” to import an existing schedule from MS Project or Primavera P6. Further information can be found here: Create new project
How can I invite other people to a project?
Click on the arrow next to the project name and then click on “Share project”. Alternatively, you can click on the “Share project” button at the top right of the process plan. You can now use “+Add” to invite one or more people to your project using a role-related e-mail address. You can find more information here: Project roles
How can I delete a project?
Participants can access projects according to their role access. You can see the list of your projects on the left by clicking on the folder icon. If you do not wish to access an existing project, you can “leave” it.
Click on the arrow next to the project name and then on “Exit project”. The project is no longer displayed in your project list.
The project can be archived if none of the participants require access. To do this, contact support@lcmd.io.
Is Single-Sign-On possible and how does it work?
Single-Sign-On (SSO) is possible via Microsoft Azure AD. As soon a the first user of a company tries to login via SSO, a window opens with request details for the internal IT. As soon as the internal IT has approved the SSO to lcmd, it can be used by all users of this company.

Troubleshooting and error correction
I have forgotten my password.
Use the “Forgot password” function on the lcmd login page. You will receive a new PIN and can then reset your password.
I cannot log in to the mobile app.
Make sure that you have first registered on the web interface at share.lcmdigital.com and created a password.
Also check that you have installed the “LCM Digital 2.0 Execute” app (available in the App Store or Google Play Store). The same login details apply there as in the browser application.
Can I reset my project to an earlier version?
If you need an earlier version of your data, we can provide it to you directly. To do this, please contact our support team at support@lcmd.io.
I have accidentally deleted one or more areas.
First try to undo the change using “Undo” (CTRL+Z). If this is no longer possible, please contact our support team at support@lcmd.io.
My mpp file is too large and therefore cannot be imported.
Please delete all saved base plans from the mpp file. This may reduce the size of the file.
Alternatively: Save the mpp file under “Save as” in xml format and try to import this xml file into lcmd.
I would like to transfer a process to another area in the process planning.
Copy processes from the desired area or cut and paste them into another area. To do this, use the shortcuts CTRL+C (copy) or CTRL+X (cut) and CTRL+V (paste). It is not possible to drag a process from one area to another.
In the process plan, I suddenly only see a gray area and no more processes.
As the focus is reset after switching views, you have to navigate back to your processes manually. To do this, use “CTRL+G” or the “Go to today” button to navigate to today. Also check the filter settings.
The hierarchy level of an area cannot be changed.
To move one area to another, the parent area to which you want to add another must be expanded. This means that the arrow at the front must be pointing downwards so that the function “Indent” can be executed.
Who can I contact if I have further technical questions or error messages?
Please contact our support team at support@lcmd.io. We are available on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm.
