Is the app also available for iPad?
Not yet – but an iPad version is planned for the medium term.
When will the solution be available for Apple?
The app is available for both Android and iOS in the respective app stores. Use your existing lcmd login credentials.
How much does the application cost?
The lcmd onsite app is included in the licence fee for lcmd customers.
2. Features & Usage
Can I assign tickets to a process on my mobile device?
Yes, you can search and filter for processes in the app and assign tickets accordingly. You can find the app's features in this article: Mobile App.
Can I create an internal To-Do list for myself?
Your To-Do lists are visible to all project participants in the To-Do Hub in the main application. This allows everyone to add and manage tickets. User-specific permissions for tickets are currently being designed in Product Management and will be developed in the coming year.
Can tasks be assigned to other project participants and approved or commented on by them?
Yes – other lcmd users can be noted in the tickets. Notifications for the respective people are not available at the moment. User-specific permissions for tickets are currently being designed in Product Management and will be developed in the coming year.
Can tasks be sent to external company partners who are not on the platform?
For this, use the Excel export from the ToDo Hub as before.
Can third-party users (e.g., subcontractors) create tickets?
Only users invited to the project can create tickets. You can invite your subcontractors to the project with read permissions. These users can create tickets.
Are there restrictions for third-party users if the general contractor is the project owner?
Only users invited to the project can create and edit tickets. Every project participant must have an lcmd license, either through the project owner or as a licensee.
3. Technical Options & Extensions
Is the microphone option also available offline?
Yes – the app can be used offline for recording. During this time, all information is stored locally on the device and processed as soon as the device is connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network. Synchronization also occurs automatically as soon as the internet is available.
Is location tracking (ticket location in the plan or BIM) planned?
Plan location tracking, whether 2D (floor plan) or intelligent 3D model (BIM), is currently being analyzed for medium-term development. Please contact us if you have specific needs in your project (support@lcmd.io).
Can I display the process plan view on a smartphone?
Currently, the process plan view is not available on a smartphone. We are investigating options for a smart display on a smartphone screen.
Is it possible to create reports on tickets?
Option to download tickets as PDFs for documentation purposes is planned for the future.
Is integration with MS 365 (Teams, Planner, Outlook, OneNote) planned?
You can export Excel files with To-Dos from lcmd via the export function in the To-Do Hub and use them further. Other ntegrations with MS 365 systems are not currently planned.
How do the filter options work?
Tickets in the Hub and in the mobile app can be filtered by all attributes that can also be selected in the ticket. You can find the app's features in this article: Mobile App.
Can the AI be disabled?
The app's digital assistant is an integral part of the app and is designed to make your daily tasks on the construction site and in the office easier. However, you can delete or adjust the AI's suggestions at any time and add your own To-Dos.
4. Data Protection & Language
Is the data processed by the AI shared with third parties?
The data is not actively shared or processed with third parties.
Can my Polish colleagues use the app in their native language?
The app is available in German and English.
5. Application & Comparison
How does the app work for civil engineering projects?
In principle, the app can be used for any type of construction project. It is also intended to serve as a tool for work organization outside of construction sites. Please contact us if you have special requirements for your project (support@lcmd.io).
What are the advantages over DALUX?
lcmd onsite allows to capture tasks, defects, and notes directly on the construction site via photo, voice, or text and document them centrally. The app is integrated into the lcmd project management system, enabling real-time synchronization between planning and execution. lcmd onsite supports BIM and AI-based defect processing.
How is the collaboration with CENDAS planned?
The tickets in lcmd form the basis for the exchange of information with CENDAS. The use cases are currently being developed together.
