The new lcmd Detail Planning mode seeks to ease the management and visualization of daily tasks. In its Beta release, it includes the following features:
- Upon zoom, visualizing task on the process plan as day cards, including their title, status, assignee, workforce, and if attachments were added.
- If zoom level doesn’t suffice to render all of the above information, showing only the card status
- Renaming of cards by double-clicking on them
- Updating cards’ statuses
- Adding multiple cards per day
- Expanding process containers to see all cards
- Dragging and dropping cards
- Deleting cards by selecting them and pressing Backspace
- Opening the card details
All features have been thoroughly tested on sample projects to ensure that no problems with existing data arise.

Open/close Detail Planning mode
- Open the desired project and navigate to the menu "View" in the process plan.
- Activate the "Detail Planning" function there. Depending on the zoom level, you will now see the day cards.

In the window at the bottom right, you can also choose between a 4-week or 6-week preview.
4-week preview - When you close the "Detail Planning", you return to the process view.
Filter Detail Planning mode and zoom levels

Set filters to focus on the view that is important for your work.

Zoom in to see the individual daily tasks and their status.

If there are several daily tasks on a given day, a small stack icon will be displayed.

Click on the arrow in the upper left corner to expand the process and display all cards.

If you zoom out a little, you will only see the status of the daily cards.

If you zoom out further, the "Detail Planning" view disappears and you see the process itself.
Define, create, and edit daily cards

For each process, a day card is automatically generated for each day. If these are not further defined, the designation "undefined" appears after checking off the progress.
- To define an existing daily task, click on the "+ symbol". Enter a name and confirm with Enter. To change the name, click in the text field again.

Click on the double arrow to access the detailed view.

Here you can plan and edit further details.

If you want to schedule multiple daily tasks for one day, you can easily create a new card by expanding the process, clicking on the "+ symbol" again, and creating a new task.
Status of daily cards

You can change the status of the respective daily task using the drop-down menu.

Late cards are marked with a red border.

You can set multiple cards to done using the slider function.

If you are at a zoom level where only the status is displayed, you can change the status by clicking the circle several times: From Open to In progress to In approval to Done.

If you have not explicitly defined any tasks, you can only set the status to completed using the slider.
Move and delete daily cards

If there are changes to the plan, you can easily move daily cards around using Drag&Drop.

To delete a day card, select it and press the Back button.

If you delete a daily card in the first row, this slot will no longer be included in the progress calculation of the process slider.
- The same applies if a daily card is moved using Drag&Drop and the original slot is then empty.
