Create dependencies
- To link processes in the process plan and thus create a dependency, please switch to “Dependency mode”, which you can access via the view menu (eye symbol).
- If links are already stored in your process plan, you can now recognize them by the black arrows between the processes.
- If you now move your mouse over the left or right edge of a process, plus symbols will become visible.
- Now click on the plus symbol on the right-hand edge of the first process and then on the plus symbol on the left-hand edge of the second process to create an end-to-start link with a 0-day offset. This is now indicated by an arrow.
- Alternatively, you can select several processes that you would like to link using the multiple selection or via CTRL+SHIFT and then click on the chain icon in the right-hand menu bar. In this way, a dependency of all selected processes is created.
Edit predecessor and successor
- Select a process by clicking on it and navigate to the “Process details” section in the bar on the right.
- The predecessors and successors of the selected process are displayed in the lower area.
- Click on the name to navigate to the process.
- To edit a dependency, click on the three dots and then on Edit.
- You can choose between different dependency types:
- End-to-start (default)
- End-to-end
- Start-to-start
- You can also use the lead time to set whether there should be an offset (positive number) or an overlap (negative number) between two processes.
Delete dependencies
- To delete dependencies, select a process by clicking on it.
- Navigate to the process details in the bar on the right.
- In the lower area, you will see the predecessors and successors of the selected process.
- Click on the three dots to the right of a link to delete it.
- Alternatively, when dependency mode is switched on, you can click on the arrow of the process to be deleted.
- Click on the dependency and delete it using the Delete key on your keyboard.
