The beta version of our new admin area helps you organize projects and people in a centralized, clear, and structured way. The goal is to give you a clear overview and make administration much easier.
With the new admin area, you benefit from:
- A centralized overview of all created projects
- The ability to manage users and projects in one place—without having to open each individual project
- Clear permissions that allow you to specify who can and cannot create new projects
All projects and people in your company can be viewed transparently and in a structured manner at a glance. This allows you to maintain an overview at all times and significantly reduce administrative effort.
With the new admin area, this is a thing of the past.
It offers a central overview of all projects and people in your company – transparent, structured, and visible at a glance.
This article summarises the following:
Informationen about the feature
- The previous user icon has been replaced by an avatar.
- By clicking on the avatar, you can see all the companies you have been invited to join.
- A cog icon appears next to the company name, which you can click to access the admin settings.

The cog icon is only visible to people who have the role of ‘company admin’ at company level.
Overview & Navigation
After logging in, you will see which company you are currently in in the welcome area.
Project roles within a company:
As a company administrator, you will see a gear icon next to the company name. You can use this to manage settings for the company.
In addition to the company administrator, there are the following permissions: employee and guest.
Employees are internal company employees who can switch between different companies and create new projects.
Guests are external, one-time users who can switch between companies and are not allowed to create new projects.
Employees and guests can have different roles within a project:
- Project administrator: Full access to the project.
- User A, B, or C: Different access levels.
- Read access: View project content only.
Project list:
- Only projects assigned to the currently selected company are displayed in the left sidebar.
- New projects are automatically added to this company when they are created.
Change of company:
- You can switch between your companies or log out at any time via the avatar.
During the beta phase, only one company will be visible in most cases.
Admin setting
Admins can switch to the admin settings via the cogwheel icon. These open in a new tab.
The following areas are available there:
Persons:
Overview of all persons in the company
- Search function
- Inviting new persons via full email addresses
- Removing persons via the three-dot menu or the detail view
- Editing person information
Projects:
- Central overview of all company projects
- Search function

Open and edit project details by clicking on the respective tile
In the current beta version, the admin area primarily serves to provide transparency and an overview. Planned enhancements include:
- Filters for people and projects
- Labels for grouping projects
- Creation of projects directly from company administration
- Cross-project standards and multi-project dashboards
