With the release of LCM-1.2.2, the Import from Excel function is available in the project data for project admins. The possibility of preparing data in Excel or importing it from other systems means that, for example, public holidays can be quickly created in LCM Digital over several years or trades can be transferred from management systems.
Please note the order of the data in the tables listed. For the import, all information is taken over from the second line onward. Hidden rows and columns are also included in the import. Set filters are also ignored. All contents in the first row are ignored.
You can use the Excel export file of any PP as template for the PP import.

Note: Different calendars cannot be respected, all companies get the project celandar assigned. Note: Project Summary Tasks (e.g. from MS Projects) cannot be imported and need to be removed from the Excel-file beforehand. Note: After the import you get an E-Mail that states whether the import was successful. If the import has failed, the E-Mail lists the reasons, so you can adjust your file. Note: The order of columns can be freely chosen, the columns only need the distinct header given in the following table. |

Import from MS Project
Data from MS Project can be imported into LCM Digital via an Excel export. It is important to acknowledge that LCM Digital uses a stricter structural conceptthan MS Project, so hierarchies and summary task need to be modified to be able to be imported.
Here is an example of how columns and the hierarchy structure from MS Project can be modified in the Excel file for import:
