Processes are classified into Takt Types in the Takt Analysis, which are generated automatically (or manually) when the Takt Analysis is generated. In the Takt Types, the already defined process chains from the Overall Process Analysis are supplemented by durations and number of resources or material allocation.
With the editing functions of the Takt Types, you can, for example, save parts of the process chains as a template and use them again.

Change the order of Takt Types
1. Click on this icon next to the Takt Type.
2. Drag and drop the Takt Types into any position (upper on the list or lower) to get the desired order.

Add predefined Takt Types
1. Click on "Add Takt Type" to import already defined Takt Types from the Project Data.

2. Select the Takt Type/s to be imported.
3. Select "Insert Selected" to import the Takt Type/s and be directed to the TA screen.

Remove Takt Types
1. Click on this symbol next to name of the Takt Type.
2. Click on this symbol to remove the Takt Type from the Takt Analysis.

Save Takt Types in the Fragnet Library

Add new Takt Type
1. Click on „Add Takt Type“, to define a new Takt Type.

2. If the Takt Type is not yet defined, click on "Create New Takt Type". The screen will be automatically directed to the Takt Type library to create a new Takt Type. The procedure is as described in Creating a Takt Type in Project Data.

Full screen mode
With the maximized view you can focus on an individual Takt Type.
1. Click on this icon next to the Takt Type name.
2. Click on this symbol to maximize this Takt Type.

3. Click on this icon next to the Takt Type name.
4. Click on this icon to cancel the maximized view.

Edit Takt Type names
1. Click on this icon next to the Takt Type name.
2. Click on this icon to edit the Takt Type's properties.

Freeze and unfreeze Takt Types from the top
Freezing enables you to dock a Takt Type at the top of the TA grid. This is useful when you want to view a particular Takt Type at any time, while working on other Takt Types simultaneously.
1. Click on this icon next to the Takt Type name.
2. Click on this icon to freeze the Takt Type and dock it at the top of the screen.

3. Click on this icon next to the Takt Type name.
4. Click on this icon to unfreeze the Takt Type and undock it from the top of the screen.

Select all process steps in a Takt Type
1. Click on this icon next to the Takt Type name.
2. Click on this icon to select all process steps in this Takt Type.
Alternative: Click into the grid of a Takt Type and press CTRL+A.
