Project participants, subcontractors, companies or authorities are defined in lcmd as trades in the trade list. Drag the trades from this list and place them in the process plan and whiteboard to plan process sequences. You can add and edit more trades. The trade can be changed on the process afterwards.
The trade list is automatically applied when importing from MS Project plans (resource column name). See the details here.

Create new trade
- Click on the trade list icon on the right side of the bar and then on New trade.
- Enter a name, chose a fitting icon and the desired color and click Create new trade. The trade appears in the list and can be used.
- To create a process with this trade, drag and drop the trade tile into the process plan.
- If you want to add milestones, drag and drop the diamond shaped tile next to the trade tile into the process plan.
Change name and color of the trade
If you no longer need a trade or want to change it, you can adapt it or use it as another trade.
- To do this, click on the Trade list icon on the right side of the bar.
- Select the pencil icon on the trade tile to make changes.
- Select the bin icon on the trade tile to delete the trade.
Change the trade for a process
- First select the process whose trade you want to change.
- Then navigate to the Process details in the sidebar to see the properties of the process.
- In the Trades area, click the pencil icon to change the trade.
- In the dialog box, you can search for the desired trade.
- Select the new trade by ticking it. Multiple selection is not possible.
- Confirm to change the trade for the process.
Whiteboard trade
It is also possible to create or change new trades in the whiteboard. The procedure in the whiteboard is identical to the process plan.
