Create new areas
- To create or edit the project structure, open the editing field for the areas at the top right
- For a new project, you will see an empty page on which you can create the project structure by clicking on “Add new area”.
- Simply enter the name of your first area and confirm with Enter. Repeat this as often as necessary for your project areas.
- Alternatively, you can click on the three dots on the right-hand side and select “Insert new area”.
Change hierarchy of areas
You can refine the project structure and further detail an area by creating several hierarchy levels below each other.
- To do this, mark the areas whose hierarchy level you want to change with a tick.
- Then click on the three dots on the right and select either “Ident” to go down or “Outdent” to go up.
- When changing the hierarchy, please note that the area above must be expanded if it contains processes.
Copy or move areas via drag & drop
- To copy or cut an area, mark the area with a tick and select the corresponding function in the menu (three dots).
- If you then want to paste the area again, click in the project structure at the point above which you want to paste the selection and then select “Paste” in the menu (three dots). The contained processes and milestones are copied/moved at the same time.
- To move an area using drag & drop, hold down the left mouse button and move the area to the desired position.
- To duplicate one or more areas, select them and choose Duplicate from the menu (three dots). After entering the duplicate quantity, confirm with Ok. The duplicated area is then automatically inserted underneath.
- Click on the two symbols (undo & redo) in the top right-hand corner to undo or redo the actions step by step.
Delete areas
- To delete an area, tick it on the left-hand side and click on the three dots on the right-hand side and select “Delete”.
- Please note that when you delete an area, the subordinate areas and the processes and milestones they contain are also deleted.
- You can delete several areas at once by ticking several areas.
