In lcmd, you work on your projects collaboratively. Owners, schedulers, project controllers, project and site managers, but also contractors can access or edit the project data.
In this video you will learn which project roles exist in lcmd and how to assign them to team members in your project.

- Admin
- A - User: can add and edit processes.
- B - User: this role can set the status of processes and ToDos to completed, as well as create and edit ToDos itself.
- C - User: can mark processes as completed and request release.
- Read - Only role
All user roles can be restricted to one or more trades using a trade filter.
Admin role
With the Admin role, you have all authorizations in the project and therefore access to all functions.
- You control access to the project and decide who is invited with which role and who is deleted from the project.
- You can adjust the project properties and duplicate the project.
- You have full editing rights
User role
The User role is intended for editing projects.
The editing rights are divided into categories A, B and C, as shown in the table above.
The trade filter can be used to restrict user rights to one or more trades.
User A
- has full editing rights
- You can add, move and edit processes and milestones.
- You can change the status of processes.
- You can create and edit action points and stability criteria for all processes.
- You can create and edit daily tasks for all processes.
- You can define the number of people involved in the process.
User B
This role is intended for project participants who are allowed to report processes and to-dos as completed.
- They can view the current status / progress of the overall project.
- You can set your own filters and save them.
- You can export the current project status.
- You can change and release the status of processes.
- You can create and edit daily tasks.
- You can create and edit / complete stability criteria or action points.
- You can define the number of people.
- You have full read rights in all other tabs (whiteboard, process plan, to-do's, planning board). You can also filter and export the views.
You are not authorized to do this:
- You cannot move processes or change their duration.
- You cannot change the status of other processes and to-dos (not your trade).
- You cannot edit the users or the project properties.
User C
This role is intended for project participants who can request process approval and complete to-dos.
- You can view the current status / progress of the overall project.
- You can set your own filters and save them.
- You can export the current project status.
- You can set the status of processes to “in release”.
- You can create and edit daily tasks.
- In all other tabs (Whiteboard, Process plan, To do's, Planning board) you have full read rights. You can also filter and export the views.
You are not authorized to do this:
- You cannot move processes or change their duration.
- You cannot create stability criteria or action items.
- You cannot change the status of other processes and To Dos (not your trade).
- You cannot edit the users or the project properties.
- You cannot define the number of people in the process.
